Anyone know the best place to charter a private plane? Looking for a small plane to take me from Ottawa (Canada) to somewhere down south like Cancun, Dominican etc

They're out there, I know of one that works out of greater NYC (no, I never used them). But my best guess is that you want to check out local options, since it's probably costly for them to fly to Ottawa to pick you up

since one has to rent the entire plane, it's much more cost effective
when one has close to the maximum number of passengers for that
specific aircraft.
